The Brief

Luke Bottomer wanted to launch an online shop selling screen protectors and phone accessories. He had the products. He needed a store, marketing, and customers.

Starting an e-commerce business from scratch is tough. You need a store that looks trustworthy, product listings that convert, social proof to build credibility, and traffic to drive sales. Without all of those pieces working together, visitors land on your page and leave without buying.

What We Built (Round One)

We designed and set up Luke's entire online store from the ground up. Products, categories, checkout flow, the lot. Then we went further:

  • Hired a local social media influencer. We organised and managed the shoot. Real product content from a real creator, not generic stock imagery.
  • Shot and edited video content. Professional videos showcasing the products in action, ready for social media and ads.
  • Ran Meta ads. Targeted campaigns designed to drive traffic to the store and generate sales.

The store was live. Ads were running. Content was going out. But the results were not where we wanted them to be.

What We Did Next

Here is where most agencies would say "well, that is what you paid for" and move on. We did the opposite.

We were not satisfied with the results. So we went back to the drawing board. We analysed what worked and what did not. Then we redesigned the entire website from scratch. A second time. For free.

Not a few tweaks. Not a colour change. A complete rebuild:

  • New store design built around what we learned from the first version. Better layout. Clearer product pages. Stronger calls to action.
  • Full SEO overhaul. Proper keyword targeting, optimised product descriptions, and technical SEO improvements so Google could actually find the store.
  • Refined Meta ads. New creative, better targeting, and improved ad copy based on real data from the first round.

The Results

After the redesign, visitors to the store skyrocketed. The combination of a better store, better SEO, and better ads made all the difference.

This project taught us a lot. Looking back, we can see exactly what we would do differently from the start. And that is the point. Every project makes the next one better.

Why This Matters

This case study shows something important about how we work. We do not just deliver and disappear. If the results are not right, we fix it. Even if that means doing the whole thing again.

Luke trusted us with his business. We take that seriously. When something is not working, the answer is never "that is your problem." The answer is "let us figure out why and fix it."

We rebuilt an entire e-commerce store from scratch because we believed in getting it right. No extra charge. No excuses. That is the standard we hold ourselves to.

What We Learned
